PFERD fibre discs are manufactured in accordance with ISO 16057 in shape A1 version F under the designation "vulcanized fibre disc". For general grinding work from fine to very fine grinding on materials which do not conduct heat well, e.g. stainless steel (INOX). Active grinding additives in the coating substantially improve the stock removal rate, prevent clogging and result in cooler grinding.
