The RUBBER type is specifically designed for general use on soft materials such as rubber, plastic and wood. The fields of application include removal of burrs on plastic injection-moulded parts, trimming of rubber moulded parts and moulded parts made of polyurethane (PUR), grinding of wooden cores and wooden shapes in model construction workshops and roughening of various adhesive joints (e.g. for repairs on conveyor belts and tyres). The ball shape KU is often used for roughening rubber surfaces in tyre repair.
