Star grip, self-extinguishing GN

Star knobs GN 5337.2 version SV are produced from a plastic material, which according to UL 94 V-O is classified as a self extinguishing material. This classification to UL 94 V-O (Underwriters Laboratories) determines the resistance of a plastic material to fire. This comprises a test on a piece of plastic material of a specific form and dimensions in a vertical position to be set alight, whereby the flame according to V-O must extinguish itself without burning droplets developing.
