Domed gear knobs GN 719.1 are very often used in place of ball knobs DIN 319 on switch levers, gear levers etc. Domed gear knobs satisfy by their form and ergonomical aspects. When using these knobs a threaded shaft is not required. Easy blows with a soft hammer are sufficient to drive the knob into place, the shaft end should be slightly rounded or chamfered (30°). The Polyamide bushing is embedded during the manufacturing process and it does not need insertion before mounting.
