Stoppage of small pressure inlet channels and capillary throttles is prevented by their use. Furthermore particles do not jam in dirt-sensitive media chambers and the resulting appearances of a jam are avoided. Preliminary filters act as throttles and dampers with pressure shocks and pressure surges.
